Magic Tree House is getting an anime movie? Lolwut

I did a double take when I saw this. Apparantly the books are really popular in Japan.

It's being written and directed by the same guys who did the Azumanga Daioh anime and... the art director from Akira is here too. Also, the composer for Brotherhood.

These books were part of my education as a child, so like hell I'm finding a way to watch this. What about you guys? xD

Then again, I also read a crapload of those books as a kid, so I may just have to watch it, too... I watch My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, so why not this?
