Hi all! I've been wanting to add this as a topic for a while. Here's how it works:
The person that posts next (or however we work it out) thinks of 15 characters from any show, movie, book, etc. Then we all comment on their post (saying okay, they'll do it, they know what characters they want to use) with ideas for situations the characters could get into. We won't know the other's characters yet, so we'd say something like '5 and 8 go to a bar. What happens?'. Then, with the corrosponding characters in mind, that person writes the situation. Not like a fanfiction, just see my example below. Although, if you wish to make it into a fanfiction be my guest. Crack crossovers can be awesome. For the sake of not focusing too much on one poster, let's say only five people can post with ideas after each character post. So, when someone responds to this and says they have fifteen characters, only five people can give that person situations. Then, said person will post the situations, and the person that comments after them will go next!
Make sense? If you have questions, just ask, and we can figure out who goes first after.
Anyway, here's one I did:
1. Winry- FMA
2. Light- Death Note
3. Al- FMA
4. Rohan- Dragon Prince
5. Hohenheim- FMA
6. Fred Weasly- Harry Potter
7. Spencer Ried- Criminal Minds
8. Riza Hawkeye- FMA
9. Aerith- Final Fantasy 7
10. Rinoa- Final Fantasy 8
11. Wolverine- X Men
12. Sirius Black- Harry Potter
13. Sango- Inuyasha
14. Irvine- Final Fantasy 8
15. Edward- Twilight
From Rosie:
3 and 4 are invited to 7's tea party. How do they respond? Do they accept, deny, or totally crash the party?
Al and Rohan are invited to Spencer Ried’s tea party. Al accepts the invitation to be polite, but is embarrassed that he can’t actually drink the tea or eat any of the snacks, so he sits quietly, hoping that Ed won’t come and crash the party now that he’s made some calm and peaceful friends for himself. Reid notices Al’s behavior and attempts to classify it as some kind of mental disorder- noting the largeness of the unusual battle armor, citing the idea that perhaps he wants to appear dangerous, or else is compensating for insecurities. He is bewildered by the loincloth, and adds that to the character profile that he’s building, wondering if the cat fixation is a remnant of a childhood experience manifesting itself in his mind. Rohan also accepts the invite, mostly because at this point he has heard of the exploits of both and is seeking their help in a princely matter, excited to find more people that can actually think and reason along with him. He is stunned and amazed with Reid’s ability to read so quickly, and tries to get him to teach how. He is also hoping to apply alchemy in his princedom, and wants Al’s advice on the subject. He also seeks Al’s advice on a more personal matter. Despite Rohan’s intelligence, he’s not quite sure how to handle his somewhat egotistical, prideful, and easily angered son. Al’s experiences with Ed have armed him (pun intended) well on how to deal with such things. By the end of the party, the tea is cold but all three are good friends.
From Had:
1 and 2 compete in the Hunger Games. Who wins and why?
Oh dear. Winry and Light compete in the Hunger Games. I doubt they would let Light use the Death Note- if he did, that would be an instant victory for him. Or else he’d kill the people in charge, or have them become Kira supporters, and THEN kill Winry because she’d never support Kira. If, however, the Death Note is not a component in the game, then there is a bit more fair play. Winry is a genius in her own right, as far as mechanics goes, and she’s not stupid in other ways, so she would stand a chance. She would also likely be more familiar with the outdoors than Light is, who honestly didn’t ever get out much. So, she would easily build traps along the way to try and catch Light. However, Winry does not have Light’s killing ease. Winry would avoid killing, and be reluctant to kill, at all costs. Light would have no such scruples, AND would have analyzed the territory and figured out traps of his own. After trying and failing to utilize Ryuk as a help to win (Ryuk would offer his services in payment of apples, but there are none, and even if there are, they could be poisonous. Not that they would kill a death god, but they would probably suck) After encountering each other many times, both emerging with various scratches and wounds (Winry’s outfit would have a wrench as part of it, somehow, so she got in a few good hits with that, while Light’s superior height and strength gave her bruises, as well as her being tricked into falling into one of his traps and nearly dying- only just getting away) they have both gained new insight on the other. Winry sees Light like a guy with a million masks. He can be charming, even sweet, if it suits his own aims. She can also easily see his arrogance, intelligence, and that if she gets him angry, he will make mistakes. She asks herself, not only ‘what would Ed do’ but also ‘what would Mrs. Izumi Curtis do?’ Light, of course, is analyzing everything she does, as well as second guessing her thoughts. He had first assumed that she was like other women he knew- somewhat petty, easily charmed by his looks. He can tell that she is smart enough, but doesn’t really think that she can read him well. The largest thing he notices, is her unwillingness to kill him. She doesn’t believe in it, and he plans to use that to his advantage. Ryuk quietly laughs, and offers Light one piece of info- that she’s smarter than she looks, and won’t fall for his charm. He offers this only because he’s not ready to be bored again, and wants Light to resume trying to become a god of the new world so that Ryuk can be entertained for a while yet. Light adjusts his knowledge, and realizes that Winry won’t be charmed, but she can be tricked. She won’t let herself die, but she wouldn’t want to kill him anyway. Even if she had told herself that she had to kill him, there would be that moment of hesitation, should she get close enough, and he would take advantage of that. However, one thing Winry prides herself in, is reading others, and knowing how to get under the skin of an arrogant individual. So she taunts him. Loudly. Not about his looks, but about his control, and his intelligence, and about his right. Winry had witnessed him killing others without conscience during the games, usually influencing others, and claims that no one, especially not Light, can control life. Light contains himself at first, but without his Death Note and without reason to hide, he snaps, running at her. He is faster than her, and soon they are tumbling along the grass, while Winry gets a good hit to his groin and runs, both afraid, and satisfied that she succeeded in pissing him off. She continues running, hoping that he will fall into one of her traps so that she wouldn’t have to kill him directly, but he manages to catch up, taunting her in turn, hating her now. “I knew you would run this way,” he sneers. “Not brave enough to face me on your own.” Winry, with her own considerable temper, bristles, but doesn’t rise to the bait, backing away. Behind her is a cliff, and she knows how easily Light could throw her off of it. He charges, pushing her backward, trying to lift her up and throw her over, but Winry uses her wrench again to make him stumble, but he manages to take the wrench from her and throws it over. In desperation, Winry’s hand grabs a vine from a nearby tree, and she loops it around his neck, using his surprise to get out of his grip as he tips forward, using the vine to keep himself from falling off of the cliff. Winry grabs a sharp rock, intending to use it or die while Light gasps for air, but she hesitates at the last second. Light starts to regain his breath and stands. Winry tries to strengthen her resolve, throwing the rock at him to gain more time. He automatically steps back to dodge it- just a little bit of the Cliffside crumbles under his foot, but it is enough. He falls to his death.
• 7 and 10 get into a debate over who deserves the last slice of pizza. Who gets the slice?
Spencer Ried and Rinoa Heartilly. Interesting. Ried would win the debate, as he is a genius, and he would rapidly fire points that, with their complicated word structure, Rinoa could not hope to dispute, though she is no idiot. However, Rinoa gets the slice, using her sorceress powers to levitate the pizza into her hand. At which point, after grinning in victory, she would say quite plainly: “Think outside of the box a little. I like compromises, how about you?” She would then proceed to split the pizza in half, and offer him one, which he would gladly accept, a little cowed at witnessing her levitating a pizza.
• 4 and 15 go on a skiing trip. What happens?
Rohan and Edward Cullen. Oh, this is gonna be good. ☺ Let’s see…well, Rohan only agreed to the ski trip in order to see if the strange creatures mean them harm- they are vampires after all, and Rohan doesn’t know enough about them to know better. Later, he will gladly laugh about them. Who wouldn’t? However, at the start of the trip, Rohan attempts to be diplomatic, trying to loosen up Edward by talking of his wife and son. Edward thinks that Rohan’s wife is far too vicious and that Rohan’s liking of Dragons is insane, but somehow manages to compare himself to the dragons to dramatically show that he is in deep emotional pain. Rohan, at this point completely annoyed and confused (“How are you sparkling? Why is this girl of yours a deadly drug? My wife was addicted to a deadly drug by force and there’s nothing romantic about it! Dragons would tear you apart and then burn you, and I fail to see the resemblance between you and they.) Skilled as he is in the art of sword fighting, Rohan contemplates to himself the advantage the world would be given if he fought the sparkling, so-called vampire, but he does not. Though he believes that Edward treats her wrongly (“Why is she not allowed to think for herself? What do you mean that you’re surprised when she doesn’t listen to you? Do you think that women are meant to merely obey? ((He laughs at this, because none of the women he knows obey anyone except themselves)) he sees that they do have a kind of love between them, and he cannot bear to destroy it. He tries to have faith that they will work everything out, perhaps gets some sense knocked into them, and live happily. Rohan also fervently hopes to never see the over dramatic, arrogant, irritating, living dead man again. Edward, who found himself unable to hear Rohan’s thoughts, is confused at how Rohan faces the terrible parts of himself and keeps living- why doesn’t he wallow in self pity? Its what Edward does, so it must be right after all. They part the skiing trip both confused and in Rohan’s case, irritated. “You got her pregnant after having sex that gave her bruises, and you proceeded to cut her reproductive system open to get out the baby that lived inside of her and had cracked her ribs. And then the teenage wolf boy fell in love with the infant, after previously being in love with your wife. By the goddess, and I consider myself to have barbarian tendencies!”
• 10 and 13 make love. What does each say about the experience afterward?
Rinoa and Sango make love.
Rinoa: Huh. Well…that’s something I can say in a drinking game that I’ve done now. That was some sake last night. Whew. At least Squall’s not mad.
Sango: I am never ever ever drinking alcohol again. And I am never going to mention this to anyone. Ever. No Miroku, we are NOT doing it again so that you can watch!
Rinoa: Same goes for you, Irvine!
Sango: Maybe Kagome can recommend something that will make me forget about what happened. No, wait. I don’t want to give my mind over to anything again. Well…so…
Rinoa: Seen any good movies lately? I’m trying to find a good one that both Squall and I will enjoy. He’s so picky, but I love him all the same.
Sango: What’s a…movie?
Rinoa: Never mind. Nice meeting you, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but, may we never meet again. At least not within ten feet of good sake.
Sango: That’s an oath that I will agree to. Miroku, if you don’t get your hands off of my ass this minute, I will call off our engagement, so help me-
• 8, 11, 5, and 9 are stranded on a desert island. Who is made the leader? Who survives, if anyone, and how do they do this?
Riza, Wolverine, Hohenheim, and Aerith are stranded on a desert island. Riza ends up being the leader with Aerith as her second in command. Wolverine hates leading anyone, or being led for that matter, but Riza’s guns helped to change his mind. Hohenheim doesn’t like leading either, and just wants to help them get off. So, Aerith communicates with the dead souls of those that had been on the island, to help find materials that they need. Hohenheim becomes close to her, after discovering that she too hears the souls of people talking to her. They speak of their loved ones, Hohenheim shocked to learn that the lovely young girl that in many ways reminds him of Trisha did in fact die, and is only now alive through a fluke. He hopes to get her home so that she can reunite with her loved ones. Wolverine also unwillingly feels sympathy for her (Aerith is hard to resist) and his respect for her grows after she shows her healing talents and her bravery when they face off against a gigantic snake that occupies the island. Wolverine especially likes Riza- she’s hot, she knows how to use a gun, she won’t take his shit, so what’s not to like? She seems well practiced at dealing with difficult men, however, a talent Aerith admires and Hohenheim observes with faint amusement, questioning Riza whether she helped to teach Winry how to deal with Ed. Riza smiled, saying that Winry was a professional when dealing with Ed, and that they both knew how to handle their men. Wolverine sulked a little in the background, muttering darkly about how men should handle women without really believing it. Hohenheim, more than satisfied with the bonding that is occurring, uses the metal materials they find to alchemically create a fully functioning plane, which they use to get off of the island and to their respective homes.
• 6 is put in prison on charges of murder. Did he do it? If so, why and how?
Fred Weasly committing murder. *bursts into laughter* Nope, he was framed, because the CEOs of Zonko’s Joke Shop are tired of loosing customers to Weasly Wizard Wheezes, so they aimed to discredit the popular joke shop. Harry Potter however, quickly learns of his friend’s plight and helps to clear his name, along with Ron and Hermione. No good judge, let alone the wizgamot, can argue with witnesses like those that defeated the dark lord.
• 12 invites 14 to the movies. Why, what movie do they see and what happens afterward?
Sirius and Irvine go to the movies. Sirius kinda wants to see Harry Potter, mostly to make fun of the actor that plays him, support Harry, and throw popcorn at Snape, but in the end they both agree to see a double feature of Sweeny Todd and then Clash of the Titans. Sweeny Todd may be a musical, but it’s a bloody musical about a sadistic man bent on revenge, so Sirius doesn’t mind so much. Clash of the Titans just looks plain badass, and seems to have some hot girls in it, so neither are too inclined to complain. Sirius invited Irvine because James pulled a nasty April fools day prank on him, even though they are both dead, Remus was *busy* with Tonks, Harry was saving the world, and Irvine seemed to have a bit of the personality that James did as far as trouble making goes- so Sirius was rather seeking out a kindred spirit. Afterward, Irvine shows Sirius his many guns and proceeds to tell him a long winded story about his girlfriend, Selphie, while Sirius laments that he never had a serious relationship.
Irvine: Seriously?
Sirius: That joke was old the first hundred times James said it.
Then they went their separate ways.
• 7 and 1 buy a pet. What type of animal is it?
Spencer and Winry buy a dog. Winry, because she thinks Den could use a lady friend (assuming that Den’s a boy) and Spencer because he’s always wanted a dog, but a dog would have been difficult on his Schizophrenic mother’s nerves.
• 2 and 6 are making their favorite sandwiches. What type of sandwiches do they make?
Light and Fred are making their favorite sandwiches. Fred gathers the entire contents of his refrigerator, lays them out before him, waves his wand, and creates a monstrous, and filing, sandwich out of it all. Light, after unsuccessfully trying to make Fred agree to join his side, petulantly makes himself an egg salad sandwich.
• 3, 7 and 8 enter a baking contest. What do their creations look like, taste like..etc. Who wins the prize?
Al, Ried, and Riza enter a baking contest. Ried reads a hundred baking books in the space of a few minutes, and proceeds to attempt to combine them all to create a baked extravaganza, that has almost every flavor known to man- in theory at least. Riza very methodically bakes a cake- one of her mother’s old recipes that she’s always wanted to make for Roy one of these days. Al makes a mix of batter and frosting separately, slowly cooking the batter, building it up a little at a time and using an alchemically created mold to make a miniature Central HQ. He then frosts the HQ, using food coloring to dye the frosting different colors for different parts. Ried’s attempt at baking tastes terrible, not to mention it is very soggy and collapses. Riza’s cake is excellent, not doubt, covered in a light dusting of powdered sugar, but Al’s wins the prize, not only for taste, but for overall creativity.
• 14 is OCD. what does he/she obsess over?
Irvine obsesses over both guns and women equally, but mostly Selphie. Oh wait, he already does…
• 5 and 6 are chosen by 10 to destroy 12. Do they succeed, or turn on their master, and why and how do these things happen?
Hohenheim and Fred are chosen by Rinoa to destroy Sirius. Though Hohenheim doubts that Rinoa would choose them to do such a thing without reason, he still refuses, as does Fred, who is very angry that someone would try to destroy Sirius. Rinoa and Fred then have a magical battle, with Hohenheim stepping in and stopping them both with alchemy. He then notices that Rinoa’s eyes have glazed over oddly, and discovers that she is being mind controlled. Unsure of how to help her out of it, he releases Fred and explains the situation. Fred, without so much as a preamble, hits Rinoa on the head with a plank. This, inexplicably, does the trick, and Sirius, sitting quietly somewhere sipping butterbeer, has no idea that his life was just saved, while Rinoa thanks the two men for stopping her, and runs to find Squall, while Fred goes back to his shop, and Hohenheim wonders who had possessed the young girl’s mind.
• 3 is deeply wronged by 13. Does 3 get his/her revenge? If so, how? What did 13 do?
Al is deeply wronged by Sango. Al does not believe in revenge, and proceeds to cry and shout angrily while Sango attempts to apologize for killing his very first cat. (“I thought it was a demon!”)
• 2 and 4, through a series of unfortunate and extremely unpredictable/unlikely events, wind up glued together. The only thing they can do is wait for the glue to start to come off - all other efforts for glue removal are futile. What bothers them the most? Where are they glued together? What happens?
Poor Rohan is just being picked on, isn’t he? First he had to spend a ski trip with Cullen, and now he’s glued to Light. His only good fortune, is that he is glued with his left hand to Light’s right. Since Light is right handed, he cannot write Rohan’s name in the Death Note as a means to try and separate them. Light is of course disgusted by Rohan’s belief in the law, even though he has great power, while Rohan is in turn disgusted at Light for the deaths he’s caused in the police force. Rohan can understand Light’s motives because he has so much empathy, but he cannot condone them because of Light’s arrogance, and Light’s lack of remorse toward the innocent who have died. Rohan tries his best to talk to Light, seeing him as a confused and misguided boy, to which Light does not respond very well, instead laughing rather manically, which disgusts Rohan ever more.

Enjoy!
