amythista: I'm so sorry if that offended you! I didn't intend to insult any Harmony shippers or anything, I just wanted to show how obsessive people can get over a pairing. I mean, they were demeaning Jo's intelligence and comparing Emerson Spartz to a slave owner. ._. ANYWAYS. SCOTT PILGRIM. I read part of the first volume, liked it, but I haven't gone to the library in a while. I'm going to watch it on DVD over winter break, though. 8D

Just checked the new movie signs up at our theatre and found out Megamind IS going to be playing. A couple weeks from now, (our theatre only plays one film at a time.) but hey, at least it will be. Yay! I'm so going to see it. =D

@ Puzzle: Do it! It's such a fun film! I wanna see it again <3
I haven't seen many movies lately, hehe. The last movie I saw was Megamind...and before the Guardians of Ga'oole movie.
Like Puzzle, I am a huge fan of Pixar <3 I really have to watch all of the movies though. It's been ages since I've seen some of the older ones D: I'm also a fan of Studio Ghibli, though I haven't seen many of their movies. From the ones I have seen, Spirited Away and The Cat Returns are my favorites. I'm actually trying to watch The Cat Returns now, but fffs the stupid page wouldn't load and the video wouldn't work for like ten minutes D:<
I also rather enjoyed some of the older Disney movies. It's hard for me to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it would likely be Lilo & Stitch, I love that movie so much <3
BUT YEAH I've seen nothing but animated movies this whole past year (I am such a child haha) and if anyone could reccomend good, non-animated films I would really appreciate it.

I'm dying to see Megamind but it isn't out here yet. 5 more days!
In the meantime I'm going to a friends tomorrow to have a Lord of the Rings Marathon, my inner nerd is very happy!

(Lilo and Stitch, yeah!! I love that movie too. <3) I'm like you. Animated movies ROCK. They are by far the best. Some non-animated films that I enjoyed: (keep in mind, I have weird tastes) The Birdcage Imagine Me and You Accepted The Perfect Score School of Rock The Princess Bride Legally Blond Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (the Bogus Journey sequel was pretty funny too.) ETA: The National Treasure movies. Love those too. I'm a sucker for a historical puzzle. It's a short list...xD I'm an animation junkie at heart.

Erm...well, I don't really care about the sex god part, but I'll end up seeing it sometime anyway. xD I cannot resist Bowie living inside what looks suspiciouslly like Yami's soul room. =3
Also, we got the Despicable Me DVDs at the store which means there are some excellent DVD rips already floating around the internet that I may or may not have watched hurr hurr. I loved that movie too. This was really a great year for animated movies. =D How to Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, Megamind, Rapunzel...(I haven't seen Rapunzel yet, but I bet it's great.)

Whoa belated reply sorryyyyyyy.
@ Puzzle: Thanks for those! I've heard of about half of those, and I've seen National Treasure oh...three years ago? But I have to rewatch, I can barely remember it xD; I'll be sure to look those up and poke around Half-Price Books for some of those after the holidays ^^
@ Taranova: I think I've heard of Labyrinth before, but I'm not certain...if it's the movie I think it is I've heard really good things about it. I think I'll be adding that to my "To Watch" list, hehe.

^ No problem! I hope you will enjoy them. =3 I guess it's worth noting that The Birdcage is...a wee bit risque. (BUT AWESOME.) So don't watch it with anyone who's really uptight about gayness/swearing.
