@ Crow: Pfffft, I am an overprotective seme all the way. I could never date a bad girl. xD (Besides that irl they're all jerks. :< I really dislike those sort of people irl.) I need an upbeat uke who I can shower with affection. But in my writing? SECRETLY REALLY-NICE-GUY INWARDLY TORMENTED BAD BOY TROPES EVERYWHERE. Or maybe it's more of just having a thing for the kindhearted rogue who occasionally is a bad boy...

^ Agreed, I'm a sucker for bad boy/girl (WIFF A HEART OF ~GOLD~) tropes in fiction, but DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT IN REAL LIFE, more often than not XD The ability to separate fact and fantasy is a good thing! In real life I want someone I can have fun with, and be all cuddly and disgusting and write slash fanfiction with. IS THIS SO MUCH TO ASK

^ THEY BOND OVER THEIR FAVE CLASSIC ROCK BAND. Despite Ling being giggly and bubbly and Greed being snarky and dour, THEY FIND MIDDLE GROUND WITH THEIR BAND OF CHOICE. (wait wat time period does this take place? because favorite rock band doesn't work in the standard FMA verse, I don't think xD for whatever reason I was seeing this as modern-day...how did you see it, for my reference?)

^ I was seeing it as modern day too, actually, considering that I gave Greed a Harley. xD; Which they also didn't have in FMA-verse. So modern day it is. WHICH BAND SHOULD IT BE? I was going to pick something obvious but now I think it should be a slightly more obscure band that people don't remember as well.

You say obscure, but all that's coming to mind here are the Rolling Stones and the Eagles, dunno why. But Greed could at first just think that Ling is a poser/fangirl/doesn't actually care or know much about the band, but then it turns out that Ling is honestly into the music and really knowledgeable 'n shit and they have a bonding experience over vintage band shirts or something XD
I can see girly!Ling in a Stones shirt. I really, really can.
ETA: Though if you made it Queen and incorporated lyrics into the fic I might just have to take you to Canada and marry you.

Well, if Greed's going to assume Ling is just a fangirl wannabe, then it's gotta be a big name band that it's "cool" to like. So the Stones are a good choice, or Pink Floyd or maybe Led Zeppelin. Although I really love the Eagles and somehow can totally see Greed being a fan of Miami Vice... WHAT QUEEN SONG ARE YOU THINKING OF IN PARTICULAR? If it inspires a scene I could very well choose Queen.  Now I want to see fanart of them wearing band shirts wut. |

GAHHH, I suck at making choices. I...I think I'll go with Led Zeppelin. Everyone has heard of them and all these popular bands these days are crediting them with inspiration, but there's a ton of ways for Ling to distinguish herself from being a poser.
BUT. I GOT AN IDEA ON HOW TO INCORPORATE CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE IN AT THE END. I CAN MAKE THIS WORK. \o/
