Hello, all. This is a thread in which we happy few non-canon shippers can express ourselves in all of our insanity. Feel free to gush, post pics, fanart, or just wonder how the hell you came up with your preferred non-canon pairing in the first place.

Rules:
1) No arguing over which pairings are "better" or more likely. Civil, serious discussion is fine, but we don't need a flame war. If you don't support any non-canon pairings and can't fathom why anyone would want to, there's a thread specifically for canon pairings on this board.
2) No pairings are forbidden here, however it's suggested that if you want to specifically discuss Royai/EdWin/AlMei/LingRanfan or other pairings explicit in the manga, you post in the canon-shippers thread.
3) Don't post links to explicit content. This is pretty much a given, but you can never be sure. If you're just bursting to show off whatever in god's name you've found, give a clear warning and don't put it in the thread itself for everyone to see.

...this is another post very fast after the last horribly long one, I know, but I am officially the most pathetic corvid in the world and not just for that. I say that because I just spent about an hour in Photoshop Elements with the trusty color replacer, editing a Vital Songs Elricest wedding fanart into HeiEd. WHA~AT, the Als are drawn very similarly in that art style!

...if anyone needs me, I'll be in the corner of shame, enjoying the fruits of my efforts, knowing full well that I am pathetic for getting such enjoyment out of this.

Anyway. Here iz original image. I stole the blue here for the eyes. Ze new hair color came from this pic. Longer hair on ze back of neck iz from here, and btw I totally want to see this happen. And after changing Al/fons's hair color, it made Ed's look too washed-out, so I stole his hair color from zis pic, which I could really like but Ed's face is just too silly. All of zese are Vital Songs, and I wish I could tell you why I am randomly lapsing into a random accent, I don't know myself.

I normally get really annoyed when people do the whole photoshop switcharoo on fanart, but...I HAD TO. Vital Songs also ships HeiEd so it's not like I'm doing a great crime against their art, just a stupid fangirl fart.

Speaking of Vital Songs, I'm a DORK and I'm buying two more doujins. Yay ~ I'm getting Double Bind (wangsty prawnz) and Doppelganger (which I have a love/hate relationship with - WHY THE EFF DOES ALFONS ALWAYS DIE IN THE ELRICEST DOUJINS?!?? WHY CAN'T THEY JUST SHARE!?!?!? BUT THEN IT'S SO PRETTY AND SAD AND I NEVER COULD RESIST THE WAY VITAL SONGS DOES ED'S HAIR GGRRRX.)

My first thought about the FST:
This reads almost more like a part COS/part Mirrorworld FST...xDD (I guess because in my head Mirrorworld has kind of become canon. So I imagine canon EdHei and immediately starting thinking of MW stuff along with the CoS stuff and how the songs fit and yadda yadda. Not sure if that was intentional by you or not.)

ANYHOO, I LIKE IT. Particularly the use of Indigo Girls, yus. <3 I'll probably download some of those other songs you listed actually. They suit other couples I ship as well and will do nicely on FSTs of my own...xD
