In other news, I will be busybusybusybusybusy at the end of the year this year, because I'm driving back down to California for a reunion-type-thing with my group of friends, and one of 'em (Dongasaurus) is driving back up with me to awesome around in the woods for a week or so. I'll still be participating, but I won't be online much except to check my gifts and squeal at them, and I'll manage for the New Year's party because THAT IS IMPORTANT.

ALSO ALSO ALSO EDITING TO ADD TO MINE - THE MOST SPECIFIC REQUEST EVER: I want post-movie Ed, Al, and Alfons (he lives!) fic where they move to New York to escape Thule supporters and police in Germany. I want gooshy bantery HeiEd with a thoroughly embarrassed but grudgingly approving Al. I want hurt/comfort because Fonsy's lungs are still fuggin' disintegrating.

AND THEN I WANT THEM TO BECOME MEN IN BLACK AND WORK TOGETHER AS AN AWESOME ALIEN-FIGHTING TRIO. Ed and Al somehow get their alchemy back - don't care how, alien magic or whatever - and Fonsy gets his lungs fixed. Actually that's what prompted them to join up in the first place- tech that can fix Alfons. And it doesn't matter for Ed and Al if everyone in the world but Alfons forgets them, and Alfons is on the run 'cos of working for Thule but there would still be angst that his name doesn't go down in history (but dude, ROCKETS.)

CLEARLY I HAVE PUT TOO MUCH THOUGHT INTO THIS. But oh my god, I want to see this. I don't really expect to get it, but if I do, I'll probably start coughing up blood myself in my excitement. Lungs aren't made for that level of squealing.

^ I too have decided to start early, as I have the tendency to procrastinate and then do everything last minute. I already have several concepts scribbled out. So what I'm planning is to let them sit a day or two, since I have the tendency to like doodles after some time when I hated them, and vice versa.

I'm almost done with my first one, starting a rough draft of my "special" gift. And trying to get some ideas for my other three.

I...I still haven't finished my last gift from last year. Every time I sit down to write it, all the words leave my brain. I'M A TERRIBLE PERSON and I want arhizzle back so I can finish it, horribly late as it is, and give it to her as a horribly late gift T__________T /emo

SO THAT IS WHY I AM STARTING EARLY THIS YEAR. And I have already finished one gift. Yay.


Packrat: Thanks! XD; For the record, it's not my art...the artist was banned offa dA, so I unfortunately do not have a link to properly credit 'em. I had it as my desktop background for forever, and it made me giggle every time I looked at it, so I figured, why not?

On another note, if the personalization didn't cost so much, I would totally use this as the background for my checks. That way, everyone who gets money from me would get a little glimpse into the inner workings of my brain. MONEY AND PSYCHOSIS. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?
