So, um, I pretty much consider Harry Potter my One True Fandom. It was my first actual fandom, and I've met so many awesome people through it, and I just LOVE it and I'm crazy enough to wear a Ravenclaw scarf and Slytherin hoodie to school regularly because I have theatre daily and the theatre is freaking COLD
So anyway, I've been into Harry Potter since I was eleven (which is seven years of my life, guys), and I've been writing fanfic of it since I was eleven.
Naturally, no one is going to find my old ff.net account and link it to me because ohmygod it was all so rubbish.
However, I have this one fanfiction that I'm really very fond of, Disenchanted, which is about Regulus Black. It was more my way to get more of a coherent characterisation for him in my head, because I always saw him as something like myself, what with the relationship I have with my sister and my parents, and Regulus's relationship with his family.
SO YEAH I SHOULD JUST STOP RAMBLING.
I've been thinking about doing a massive overhaul and rewrite of Disenchanted for a while now.
I actually attempted a rewrite/companion piece (called Forget and Not Slow Down) but I didn't get very far.
So um, I would really love it if you guys could read one (or both) of them and tell me if you think I should do a rewrite. I'd try to incorporate both stories within this one, and I'm still sort of on the fence.
