I had to make this thread.
So, if FMA characters were sorted into Hogwarts houses, which ones would they be in? Here's what I think:
Edward - Total Gryffindor.
Alphonse - Gryffindor. Hufflepuff could be a possibility, too.
Winry - I'd go with Hufflepuff.
Mustang - I would put him in Gryffindor, but as someone in a different thread mentioned, he's incredibly ambitious and all that, so maybe Slytherin.
Hughes - Hufflepuff
Hawkeye - Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. Can't decide.
Ling - Slytherin.
Alex Louis Armstrong - Definitely a Hufflepuff.
Olivier Armstrong - SLYTHERIN SLYTHERIN SLYTHERIN.
Hohenheim - Ravenclaw, I think.

Ed's a Gryffindor. Maybe a Hufflepuff, but I think the Gryffindor in him would completely overshadow that. He might be able to get into Ravenclaw if he tried, but he'd probably be a Gryffindor.
I honestly don't know if Al'd be a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. I want to say Hufflepuff because of my dislike for how pretentious most Gryffindors seem to turn out to be. Maybe Ravenclaw. He's certainly smart enough, and he loves learning, so, honestly, it might just be a toss-up between those three.
Winry is either a Hufflepuff or a Ravenclaw.
Roy is a Slytherin. I refuse to accept anything else. There are a bunch of Slytherins who aren't evil. Roy's just too ambitious and cunning to be anything else. Sure, he's chivalrous, but he doesn't have nearly enough Gryffindor traits to be in any other house.
Hughes is a Hufflepuff. There's a possibility that he'd be a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff seems more fitting.
Riza. Hufflepuff. The loyalty and fairness and hardworking is just so Hawkeye, and, though she's certainly brave, I offer Tonks as an example of a brave Hufflepuff.
Both Ling and Greedling are Slytherins. I think Ling has some Hufflepuff traits, but not nearly enough to get him sorted there.
Armstrong's a Hufflepuff. There's no other House that would be even remotely fitting. Olivier is a Slytherin for more or less the same reasons above.
Hohenheim's definitely a Ravenclaw.
I also would like to throw in Havoc as a Hufflepuff. Loyal, hardworking, fair... yep.

I can see Lust as a Ravenclaw. Even though she is cunning she also seeks a lot of knowledge, especially in the first anime, and she's one of the wisest homunculi.
I can see Dante as the stereotypical evil Slytherin. She doesn't stop at anything to get what she wants.

Edward - Not sure. I've said this before, but I think the hat would sort him into Hufflepuff just to fuck with him. Then again, the hat isn't Roy. He seems a total Gryffindor, yes, but I think that if Alphonse was sorted into Ravenclaw (which I imagine he would) he would ask the hat to put him in Ravenclaw with him. And he would fit in there, too--he's certainly not as calm or eloquent as Ravenclaws, but he's got the intellect.
Alphonse - Gryffindor, though possible a Ravenclaw. He's extremely wise and level-headed. Gryffindors are about bravado, and Alphonse isn't like that for the most part.
Winry - Ditto, Hufflepuff. She's very loyal.
Mustang - Slytherin. He's cunning, ambitious, and is willing to topple others to get what he needs. Slytherins are loyal to the friends they have, and collect many enemies. Slytherins have a dark reputation (and Roy does), but that doesn't mean they're evil.
Hughes - Hufflepuff. I'd possibly consider Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff is a better bet. He's cheerful unless the situation requires his darker side, and he's loyal almost to a fault.
Hawkeye - Ravenclaw. When I think of Hawkeye, I think of someone wise beyond her years. Ravenclaws also have an extra edge to them that Hufflepuffs don't. Ravenclaws aren't typically loyal, no, but then again Riza is anything but typically. Personally, I can see her following Roy into Slytherin even though she doesn't fit the house, because of her promise to protect him.
Ling - Slytherin. Especially after Greed's infiltration. He seems to fit the mold of the Slytherin anti-hero.
Alex Louis Armstrong - The bravery, machismo, and brawn lead me to believe he'd make an excellent Gryffindor.
Olivier Armstrong - Slytherin. Oh, God, Slytherin.
Hohenheim - Ravenclaw. He's too brilliant not too. Then again, he'd also do well in Slytherin. Possibly Gryffindor--if Ed is just like him at a younger age, and Ed is a Gryffindor stereotype, it only makes sense that Hohenheim would as well.
Alfons - PIGFARTS. HE NEEDS A ROCKET SHIP.
