It's a challenge to write 50,000 words of fiction in the month of November. =3 You "win" by hitting 50K and the prize is a printable winner's certificate. The real reward is just the satisfaction of trying. Going for it and writing for the sake of enjoying writing, regardless of how bad it is. I owe NaNo for re-inspiring me to write again, so as much as it drives me nuts every year, I love it. <3 www.nanowrimo.org/eng/whatisnano <- That link will explain the basics better. |

Congrats Shan! Ahh, I need to writing-buddy you, too. =D
I'm juuuust about to hit 46k. And I've just shot my main character in the chest with a crossbow, so this should be fun. xD
ETA: 46,182. /o/ And now my character is dying of blood loss. Yay! (Well, not yay for him, but yay because I have an excuse to make his love interest be all panicked and angsty. Which is kind of too cute for words. <3)

I am such an failure
I don't even know if a snow closure will help me catch up, I'm so behind (at 13k and haven't written in over a week orz)
I'll keep trying though...congrats to winners! I'll have to shove something about a blizzard into mine, I mean it DOES take place in this area...
