I've tried watching Brotherhood a thousand times, but every time I do I get physically nauseous because all of the violence is overshadowed by these disgusting romantic subplots. It's SICK.
...
I have issues. XD Help? Is there a way I can watch Brotherhood without wanting to strangle a certain teenaged female character?

I'm assuming you're referring to Winry? In which case, wasn't all of the romance in the manga too? I don't even remember them adding anything in Brotherhood. To answer you're question, you could just skip the parts that she's in. Why do you want to strangle her, if you don't mind me asking?

Whenever I'm watching (or reading) something and a character I hate shows up, (say, Kaiba in Yugioh xD) I usually make fun of him throughout the scene until he goes away and I settle back into plot. If you're watching it on DVD, fast-forward or mute help too...put it on mute and make up your own dialogue. ;3

bespecledcow: Yeah, Winry. XD And I've never read the whole manga, because I was too impatient to read it. I got the gist of it and managed to skim over the parts involving Winry, but watching the anime is a lot different. I'll try to fast-forward through it, but I'm always afraid I'll miss something, you know. IMPORTANT.
I'm not going to start a rant about her here because I have a great deal of respect for her fans on this board, but I will say that I dislike fluffy romance subplots, sexy Mary-Sue characters whose foremost intended purpose is to live happily ever after with the main character, and cliches.
Puzzle: LMAO. Poor Kaiba. XD That's a good idea. I may try that. :3 Thanks! ^_^

Eh, do what I do and just fast forwad through those parts. As for the gore, in my opinion that's what makes Brotherhood better. There's just more action. Plus it's a lot more like the Manga which I read before watching the series.

Lol, actually I love the violence. XD That came out wrong. I meant that the violence is the only thing that keeps me nauseous. All of the characters seem...high and mighty, if that makes any sense at all. Pretentious.
