Ouch. D:
Yeah, there's a spot where mine stops being round and just goes flat. After that it's a bunch of bumpy little ridges and a dent. >.> This is why I will never shave my head. Though I wouldn't do that anyway. I like my hair. >.>
This is probably why I get chronic migraines. LMAO

I made a character once named David McDonnell. He looked, ah, a lot like Liam Dryden and was a huge Doctor Who fan. I later found out that David Tennant's real last name is McDonald. Now I feel like a creeper.
Every time I go to remove one of my old Suefics from my Fanfiction account, I can't do it. I still don't understand why.
I am the one person in my household most against animal abuse, yet it seems like I'm the only one willing to punish the dog when he does something wrong. (Other than my mother's "Bad!" and occasional "Go in your cage!")

D: OH NO RUN FOR YOUR LIVES But YAY TARA WE ARE DENTED HEAD BUDDIES!!!!! Let's see...I want to be a writer, but I'm going to college for video editing, which is also something I love. I'll take English classes too, but not as my major. I've read a lot of stuff from professional writers discouraging it. My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our two-year anniversary. My grandpa has 'connections'. You know how in movies, there's always some kid with a family member that 'knows people'? Well, my grandpa is one of them. He was a reporter, actually (even was on CNN for a while) knew Bobby Kennedy personally (my mom went to their christmas party when she was a kid and got bit by their dog) and was actually there when he died, and was tennis buddies with Gregory-freakin'-Peck. My mom has a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird that he signed for her. Aaaand, this is a really random question tara, but are there any het pairings you do like? I dunno I was just curious. I was remembering that old post in the "YOU KNOW WHAT I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE" thread, and remembering what you and some others said about representation and how het pairings just weren't you're cup of tea (which is totally fine of course) but I got curious and thought I'd ask. I know that even though I'm straight there are some gay pairings I like. Tara/Willow, Fai/Kurogane, and Val/Alin are a few. *is tired and hopes she is making sense*

YES. RUN, RUN MUAHAHAHA!
XD Dented heads are kind of cool but kind of not, because now my sister insists on calling me mentally incompetent due to brain damage.
Yeah, that's a good idea. Writing is fun and good, but if you don't have the knack for it, a degree is nothing but a pain in the ass that doesn't pay off. Publishers don't give a rat's ass if you have a degree in English. What they care about is how well they think your book/article/anthology will sell. My grandma edits books for a living, and trust me, most of the crap she has to push through is self-gratifying bullshit by middle-aged nutjobs who think they can sell a million copies of a self-published book on their time in the nunnery.
Off-tangent, but impeccable advice: read lots of literature in your free time, but don't waste reading hours on dime-novels and pulp. It's incredible how much better writers are when they dig into really rich pieces.
Anyway, good luck and congrats on your anniversary. :DD
My girlfriend and I recently broke up. XD All of my relationships end well, though, so I'm not sad about it.
ROFLMAO. At first I thought you were going to say your grandpa was in the mob or something. XD "My grandpa has connections. He knows how to get things." But really, that's awesome. Must be pretty interesting to have a guy like that in your family. Guessing you must ask him questions a lot. I'm jealous. :/
Closest thing to cool in my family is that I'm related to the guy who wrote Utopia on my dad's side, and on my mom's side, I'm related to Laura Ingalls Wilder (who wrote Little House on the Prairie). Of course, she's only related by marriage, but it's still awesome. My cousins' grandmother dated Walt Disney, and their grandpa allegedly punched him in the face and won over the grandma.
Yeah, there are a couple. XD I don't think of them sexually, though, which is the thing that separates my shipping het and slash pairings. Thinking of het pairings sexually usually just bores the crap out of me or makes me feel weird. I like Royai, AlWin, Neville/Luna (Harry Potter), and Robin/Raven (Teen Titans), but nothing else really jumps at me. I've always just been more attracted to gay/lesbian pairings, I suppose. XD That's why yaoi and yuri manga piss me off--they're cute and/or sexy on the surface, but there's nothing DEEP about it, there's no action, there's no plot.
I just wish there was an anime or manga or novel that's both mainstream AND features a realistic gay or lesbian coupling. :/ One that's not forced either, one that's not there just to appeal to the gays reading them. Something that's subtle and yet real. Does that make any sense?

^ NIGHTRUNNER, NIGHTRUNNER, NIGHTRUNNER. READ EET. MAINSTREAM NOVEL SERIES FULL OF ADVENTURE AND DEPTH AND INTRIGUE AND PLOTS, PLOTS EVERYWHERE WITH MCS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE GAY AND IN LOVE. IT'S BRILLIANT.
Also congrats on getting your license, Tara. x3 ROAD TRIP.
I guess I should say something about me. Um. I just got a new job and I kind of hate it. Why did Borders have to close? I loved that job so much, I wish I could have kept working there forever. ;_;

I hate driving. I just don't like it, and therefore, every school that I'm considering is in a city that has a decent public transport system. Oh, and I bought cigarettes today. For my mum, but still. The guy looked at me like I had a fake ID or something. It's not my fault I look younger than I am, apparently. Buut for some reason, when I was at a uni at like fifteen, this girl asked me what I was majoring in. I was just there cos my mum was registering for a nursing class.

I love driving! XD It clears my head. I like jamming in the car. Bwahaha. That sucks. Reminds of something kinda similar. When I was like, thirteen, I went to the gas station with my dad one night and he bought some liquor. They wanted to card me because they thought I was his girlfriend. ... Yeeeaaaah. I can't really blame them. He's only fifteen years older.

I appear to have some sort of superpower for missing natural disasters/weird events. I was swimming when that earthquake happened on the East Coast, so I didn't feel a thing, and I managed to sleep through Hurricane Irene this weekend.

The music I like tends to be nerdy or indie. But I mean that as in actually from an independant record label. This is in no way a conscious decision, but I still feel like an indie snob when I say that. The mainstream music I like is almost always alternative or rock, which is interesting considering the indie music I like is almost always acoustic, electronica, or pop. My absolute favourite musician is Tom Milsom. listen to him here. He's wonderful. I also love musicals, my favourite of which being next to normal.

Let's see...I have my own radio show. I do it with my boyfriend. Following along with the age thing, when I was eleven people thought I was fifteen, and when I was fourteen I passed for twenty. I'm trying really really hard to figure out photoshop and illustrator, but I'm having no luck so far.

I had a friend whom I met in 8th grade. We were born two days apart, and later discovered we'd also been born in the same hospital and were delivered by the same doctor.
Freaky.
