I haven't found many good ones, though D: And all I have are scanlations, I've tried finding FMA doujin at cons before but it's much too difficult! D:
If I find any EdHei doujinshi at the next con I go to, I'll buy it and mail it to you if you want!

As for me, I can't - off the top of my head - think of any of my favorites. '^-^ I love IDEA. They're amazing. Oh, and I love the Blue Flame series, because I'm an angst-pervert and a sucker for pretty art.

^ When you're 18 in just a few weeks, you'll be able to join a bunch of doujinshi scan comms on LJ. I can rec some out to you! Also, there's this giant archive full of scans I've linked before, and I know a few websites where you can find information on doujinshi so you'll know what to look for.

OMG RLY I WOULD LOVE THAT -flails- I'd do the same for you, except I'm a social shut-in and I haven't gone to a con yet cos I have no one to go with me orz If I go to SakuraCon this summer, I'll definitely look for stuff though XD We'd both have to make lists of what we already have, though...

IDEA is best ever. I would seriously sell my dignity for Oasis, Metamorphose Planetarium, and Living Will. Living Will and MP were for sale recently, but other people got to 'em first <_< I bought some IDEA recently on my crazy spree the other week: Precious Wonder 1, Traumerei, and Precious Wonder 4 (new!) GRRRX I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THEY ARRIVE, HOPEFULLY IN TIME FOR MAH BIRTHDAY

(And $49.99, it could be worse - I uh, I actually spent $65 on a single dj during my crazy recent spree XD; It's one of the GREATEST HEIED DOUJINSHI OF ALL TIME and it's super super rare, and I couldn't believe my luck, and DON'T JUDGE ME OKAY ORZ) Also, from a different seller, Deep Reverb for $19.99 with $8.00 shipping from Germany.

-Neo Romantic by Ronno & Kalus (Bambi Takada) Cute RoyEd shonen-ai by a kickass artist. It's going for $34.99 right now, or the best offer. I just bought two doujinshi from the seller and they're awesome, shipping is free and VERY fast (and they're in Indiana, so it'd get to you FAST!) I have raw scans.

-Hermaphrodite also by Ronno & Kalus. Not actually about hermaphrodites at all. I haven't read this series yet, but it's supposed to be really really good RoyEd. Same seller as before; look through their shop for all the other Hermaphrodite books being sold. Each is $39.99 though, cos I think these books are pretty rare.

-Lovely Cool Fake. More Ronno & Kalus, by a different seller. This is Shamballaverse Ed/alt!Roy. It's $19.90, but $5.00 shipping from Japan so it'll take a while to get to you. I can get scans of this book for you too, if you don't have 'em already - this is one of the few Shamballa works in which I will accept a pair other than HeiEd, so you know it's good XDDD

-Promised Land, a new IDEA Roy/Ed book. It's $29.99 with $10.00 shipping from Japan, but hey, IDEA!

-Stray Cat Strut by Ninekoks. Ninekoks also did the Munich 1921 series, one of the only other instances where I will ship alter!Roy/Ed xD Anyway really hot RoyEd with a KITTY. It's $19.99 with $7.00 shipping from Japan. And I have a scanlation, if you're interested in that.

-MOAR CATS: Cat Voice by Mame Drop. A thoroughly adorable RoyEd shonen-ai where Ed spontaneously grows cat ears and a tail and lulz ensue. It's going for $12.99 with $8.00 shipping from Germany. I have a raw scan.

-Love Me Tender by GD-Mechano, one of my favorite artists. I have a scanlation of this but omg I was so, so tempted to buy this hard copy (but I already spent a ridiculous amount on doujinshi, so I didn't <_<) It's mangaverse RoyEd light shonen-ai, really really sweet, and the art is GORGEOUS. It's $34.99 with $8.00 shipping from Germany.

I'm not even going to bother to hope that my FMA OTP has any doujinshi that are merely PG. :< Just collecting non-pr0n Puzzleshippy doujin is tough and that's a ridiculously popular pairing, so for a side-pairing? Yeah...not going to get my hopes up. But if the universe turns on its side or something and somebody does come across a GreedLing doujin that's not pr0n, drop me a line, pretty please? ^^;;;

^ Dude. There is FMA doujinshi of everything you could imagine, every pairing, every rating. There's Ed/Falman books. There's one where Roy and Ed are doujinka instead of alchemists. There's one where Ed is an anthropomorphic sheep. Also, anything produced by Valiant, ever. (Case in point: were-chicken-geisha-stock-market-genius-hermaphrodite Ed.) THERE ARE GODDAMN LOLI NINA BESTIALITY ARMORSEX BOOKS (but I'm really, really hoping it's just the one. omg looking at a cute HeiEd book on a doujinshi database and it comes up on the sidebar of "You may also like" WTFNO. ERROR D:)

ALSO GUYS I HAVE A DILEMMA. I recently bought the first Precious Wonder book (IDEA) for a huge amount of cash (IT'S MY BIRTHDAY NEXT MONTH I HAVE AN EXCUSE) and it came in the mail the other day. That's really fast shipping, considering it came in from Germany and I only ordered it last week. BUT. The packaging was torn up as hell because it was a brown paper bag folded into the shape of an envelope. The packing on the inside was a bit of cardboard torn off of an IKEA box. The dj itself was somehow still in great condition, but the holes in the envelope were big enough for it to fall through!

AND I'M ACTUALLY KIND OF A NICE PERSON SO I DON'T KNOW HOW TO BE MEAN ABOUT IT. I bought this offa eBay and the seller hasn't ever received a negative review, and they were so nice about the whole thing and it shipped so fast and aaaaugh, I don't wanna ruin their track record, but then it's not fair to anyone else who gets a fucking paper-bag-envelope because maybe they won't be as lucky and their book really WILL fall out and get lost somewhere between points A and B...

As for your dilemma...could you e-mail the seller? Those review boxes don't give you nearly enough room for a legitimate concern and maybe this was an isolated event. Thank them for the dj and tell them that you really appreciated their service and products, but that you did want to warn them that their packaging didn't make the trip very well. (Still got the package? Take pics of it to show them.) That way you're not blaming them directly, but now they know that there IS a problem.

You could still give them a positive review, but put in the comments something like, "dj arrived quickly in great condition, but packaging was not very secure."

I'm desensitized enough that searching through doujin websites doesn't normally phase me - it takes something *special*, like the book I described T_T But if you just hang out on LJ comms where there are sales posts, and search through eBay every once in a while, you find LOTS OF GOOD SHIT. That's how I got alla my crap!

Yes, I own a book called The Secret Room is a Room for Passion. Yes, it's just as gay as it sounds, though it's more shonen-ai than yaoi. But LOOK AT THIS SCAN. LOOK AT HOW FUCKING PRETTY IT IS.

Many of these I already had scans/scanlations of, some of them I've had for years, but some were surprises. I got raw scans of Ein no Waltz (Eternal Waltz) only recently, but I didn't even know the sequel Twin Mind existed until I bought it.

omg it is SO PRETTY and SO SAD and it's definitely one of my favorites, even if I choose to ignore certain details in the ending. I would KILL to know what exactly they're saying...a good amount of the story can be made out from the art alone, but still. When arcanum_amare on LJ comes back from hiatus, I am totally requesting this one XD

Also, Folie a Deux. Fucking Vital*Songs. There's a scene in it - I'll take pictures or something cos I gotta share it - that's just fucking ow, way to make an already sad scene worse! I have no idea what the fuck happened in the end of this - shit got complicated - so I really want scanlations of this one too :B

I was at a con this weekend. xD; They had a yaoi doujin table, and I would've looked at the FMA stuff except the Kingdom Hearts stuff looked so... adorable and shiny, even if I don't ship those kind of pairings... Except Hetalia. If it's Hetalia it's okay. *is shot*

Really, I'm more for shonen-ai/soft yaoi, if only because the hardcore stuff tends to be cheesy and gross and more about the kink than the pairing. I don't even like the seme/uke kink - I'm in it for the character interactions. HeiEd books, in my experience and for the most part, tend to be more about the characters than the kink factor, so that's good. I AM NOT SO SECRETLY A ROMANTIC AT HEART.

Nah. xD; They only had AkuRoku (which I only partially ship in a romantic sense; Neo likes her friendshippy/Bromance AkuRoku plz) and TerraVen (which I don't ship at all xD;). I was looking because it seemed so nice and shiny~ Now if they had VenVan, it would've been another story...

@neo: Well, our ideas of hardcore yaoi might be different, too XDD I tend to think of Valiant (known for being one of the wtfiest FMA dj circles out there, with incidents such as the HAM DILDO, THE GRAPE, and who can forget the chicken-chimera-hermaphrodite-geisha-Ed?) and also of the most horrible doujinshi ever, called Shotamon. With a name like that...yeah. Trainwreck syndrome. THAT thoroughly exhausted my trainwreck syndrome when it comes to doujinshi, let me tell you internets.

Also Lazies. But I like Lazies. I can't help it! Lazies specializes in fuckin' adorable chibi-esque art coupled with the dirtiest smut this side of Valiant. Lazies makes me feel like I need an adult, and I AM an adult XD Here is a non-filthy example of Lazies art. I AM HELPLESS AGAINST IT.



So this scan is from what is possibly the greatest HeiEd doujin of all time, called Boy and Boy. Basically it's Ed and Alfons being clueless awkward dorks who get curious and do some equally awkward "experimenting" and it's adorable and hot and really really sweet. Also the art is AMAZING. I about shit myself when I saw this up for grabs on eBay the other week and uh, I paid through the nose for it XD But it's TOTALLY WORTH IT and I can't wait for it to come in, happy birthday to me ~

From the close contender for greatest HeiEd doujin of all time, Oasis,page 39-40, page 44, page 55, and page 56. This is at the top of my wanted list, because hnnnnnnng IDEA. (Ed cries a lot in IDEA djs, but uh, they give him plenty of reason to cry. ANGST FIENDS. LIKE ME.)
