I despise when I'm told several times by several different people that I don't need to be at rehearsal as it's an act that I am not in, and I catch the bus because my mother is working 3-11 (I don't have my own car, unfortunately), and while the bus is pulling out of the school, my friend texts me asking me where I am, and why am I not at rehearsal, and that it's mandatory for everyone.
If I had stopped in the theatre to check if we had rehearsal, I would have missed my bus, which would have fucking sucked if I didn't have to go, as I'd have had no ride.
The old theatre company was at least organised - we had full rehearsal schedules the first week, and a contact sheet in case that changed or if someone wasn't at rehearsal. And you know what? Almost everyone was there for every rehearsal, and if they weren't, they had work, or after school classes or something. It wasn't because they weren't informed.

It's okay guys. ^-^ I'm not angry or trying to start a pointless fight or anything. I just have a bad self-esteem as it is, and if I'm THAT unlikeable on an FMA forum of all things, there really must be no hope for me. XD <3
Sorry about your theater problems xslytherclawx.

Taranova, from what I've seen, you aren't unlikeable.
@thread: I really hate people touching me when I don't expect it. Especially my head, neck, or stomach, because I'm ridiculously ticklish there.
Also. I'm starting to seriously loathe the stereotypical seme/uke pairing. Y'know, tiny little light-haired boy who looks like he should be jailbait getting topped by tall, dark-haired man who acts like a total douche to the kid? I mean... why is that even a thing. In all of the BL manga I've read, only once has the uke been taller than the seme. Seriously.
I can usually look past that and concentrate on the better qualities of the manga, but it's really starting to irritate me. Augh.

^ DUDE I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE SHOUNEN-AI STEREOTYPING. Have you read Cafe Latte Rhapsody? They flip the personalities, if not physical appearance. The uke is this fiery-tempered dark-haired college guy and the seme is this gentle-giant high school guy who loves lattes and cries over kittens. It's very cute. xD You might also like Color, where the couple is sort of equal as far as looks/personality, rather than the usual obvious stereotypes. (Although they did make the seme a smoker, which irritated me.) The uke guy is sort of emotional, but he has his moments of total badassery, too, like when he kicks a door in. x3
On-topic: I despise my teeth. I hate my wisdom teeth for growing in sideways and I hate my teeth in general for getting cavities. (Which I know is my fault. OTL But I hate that teeth can get cavities in the first place.) And I hate that insurance companies are run by dicks who make it impossible for my family to afford dental insurance, and that I therefore I have to spend all the money I was saving for a place to rent and for a down-payment on an Earth-friendly car on getting my teeth pulled and cavities filled.

^Actually, I have read Cafe Latte Rhapsody, and it was /adorable/. I'll definitely look Color up, too~
And while we're on the subject of BL recommendations, I'd suggest Liberty Liberty! by Hinako Takanaga. It has gorgeous artwork and is both hilarious and adorable. It's also non-explicit, which is honestly pretty refreshing in a genre that's usually full of PWP. And it's on MangaFox.
*hugs*

^ Oh cool, I'll check that out! Thanks Pluto. =3 I only really like the non-explicit ones, because I want my BL to have a plot and be more about romance than lust, and it seems like only the non-explicit ones do that.

...I hate that everyone thinks I'm dating a guy who is seriously just my friend.
Also, I hate my sister.
...Oh, and that this /adorable/ one-volume shoujo I found in Paris does not seem to exist in English anywhere. My French may be proficient, but that doesn't mean that I know slang or many idiomatic expressions, which make manga-reading, in particular, difficult. (Like we were told that "copain" is slang for friend, when, apparently, it means boyfriend/girlfriend or not-not-boyfriend/girlfriend)

In all of the BL manga I've read, only once has the uke been taller than the seme. Seriously. I honestly don't understand the appeal of uke characters. Maybe it's just a preference thing, but I don't find uke characters attractive at all. It's especially bad when yaoi fangirls take characters who aren't ukes or even gay at all and 'uke-fy' them (check the tvtropes pages for ukefication if you don't know what I mean). It's not hot, it's not cute. I don't like men who look and act like girls, I like men who look and act like MEN. If I wanted a girl, I'd be a lesbian.

^ See...I think I'm guilty of uke-fying my favorite characters because I -am- a lesbian. So ... apples and oranges, really. :/

I occasionally write uke-ish characters, but I mainly use them to subvert, play with, and overall just screw with the typical stuff.

Sorry for the double post, but I really really need to vent about this asshole: www.thestranger.com/seattle/SavageLove?oid=6577949Apparently, if an asexual person gets in a relationship with a 'normal' person, they're inflicting themselves upon the 'normal' person. And, oh, there's no such thing as asexuality, we're all just 'minimally sexual'! Or even better, 'minimals'! Thank you, Dan Savage, I so needed an insulting label for myself. This dude is the guy that started the It Gets Better campaign. Why the HELL is he so dismissive towards asexuality?! And for that matter, why is he saying that people who experience sexual attraction are more 'normal' than aces and demis? That's like telling a gay couple that hetero couples are more 'normal' than them. TL:DR; Sex advice columnist and LGBT+ advocate is a dick about asexuality.

Oh, it's That Guy. Yes, he's gay, but he's also a rich white cis man who wouldn't recognize his own privilege if it wore a tutu and gave him a lapdance. Back around when Prop 8 passed he had this caustic article advising queers to "keep an eye on" the Black community, because Prop 8 wouldn't have passed without their support and thus they are ENEMIES TO THE GAYS and whatnot. This of course has everything to do with the color of their skin and not, y'know, their religion. -eyeroll- DO NOT LET HIM BOTHER YOU-hugs- Not all of the Gay Internet likes him - the sj circles aren't too fond of him:
