No human!Al. This makes me a sad Puzzle. ;__; (FFF, I need to ad human!Al to my SGB wish list.)
Art looked a little shaky to me in places, but that might have been my slow-ass browser's fault. I have NO CLUE what to make of the kid with a tail and the werewolf...thing...and that other bat lady. Except to say I kind of want that cool flying uniform thing that Bat Lady was wearing.
I'll watch it when the opportunity comes up with subs just so I'm informed, but I'm not sure it's something I'll be on the edge of my seat for. I predict an OVA-type plot. Random side-story made up all flashy. Not that this is bad in my world, as I often enjoy OVAs for their crack and safety.

Yeah that bat lady was immense. It could be awesome or appalling. I think it's worth a shot. I mean, hey, it's more FMA but yeah the music? That made me.. Cringe. And I kinda like the artwork. I always preferred the art from the first anime and CoS. Something about brotherhood was just.. I dunno. Their faces looked odd. But if the film does turn out to be shit, I won't be surprised, some things should end earlier on a high note than later on a bad one :/ Short reply is short. Stupid iPhone. It keeps correcting my spelling when I'm halfway through a word -.-

Bat Lady? ...Yeah just when I got over my fear of bats. Werewolf dude looks pretty cool! Yeah my brains not working seeing as I just did 2 exams today ugh.
I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the movie yet, my thoughts are kinda "meh" right now.

Are we absolutely sure this is manga-verse though? FMA is notorious for having a LOT of different "canons." First anime, movie, manga, Brotherhood, video games, novellas, etc...this movie could be sort of the same. Same integral characters and themes, but with a different continuity. I think I'd like that a lot more than some kind of "forgotten" story taking place during the manga. I'm personally a fan of all of the FMA canons, but that's just me.

^ Well, it is a Brohood movie...I think. They first announced it after the last episode of Brohood aired, at any rate. Yeah, almost certain it's a Brohood side story.

I for one think the new movie looks awesome. Plus, so far FMA: Brotherhood really hasn't disappointed me. The only thing that I can kind of complain about is the animation. For a theatrical release the animation just looks like a regular episode of FMA, which wasn't what I was expecting at all.

Am I the only one who actually prefers this animation? Don't get me wrong I don't think the drawings themselves are better, I just preferred them. To me they looked more like the manga - especially Ed and Roy. I think it's just those two who looked kinda wrong in brohood - which is why I was happier to see Ed looking like the old animation. None of that really made sense, but yeah.

Just like the first movie ended the original series. So to me it seems logical that the animation should match. However if they were to do a series based soley on the mangas then I would be fine with it.

Meh. As long as it's got a good storyline it should be dandy (: But I don't think it follows on from Brotherhood because armour!Al was in it, unless that was like. A flashback or something.

I see every individual piece of FMA as separate from the other. So long as it's FMA, I don't give a damn about much else. Sometimes you've just got to let things slide and take it as it is: fiction. Who cares if one piece doesn't necessarily fit? If this is based on the manga universe, and it seems as if the characters in Brotherhood have conveniently forgotten about it, it's irrelevant. I hope I'm making sense here. *hangs head in shame*

^ I agree with Tara. I have a tendency to take things singularly. (A by-product from my Yugioh fangirling, no doubt, where it's hazardous to your health to try to find continuity between pieces.) So the fact that this will probably be a random side-story that nobody remembers in BroHood/manga canon really doesn't phase me. ^^; I'll just take it for what it is. I'm easy to please.

Exactly! Yay Puzzle! That's the point I was trying to make when I brought up all the video games and novels and the manga and the two different anime series and now the two different movies. Let's face it. FMA is notorious for having a lot of different canons.

Altough I will say this, for people just getting into the fandom/series that can be really really confusing.
