GUUUUUUYS I just had an idea. Sort of a prank/observing of Denial Day.
SO, I go to a Christian private school. Pretty conversative little place, etc. I thought of putting something up for Don't Forget Day inside my locker (i.e. Crow's little Advice-Dog style "BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN, JOIN THE MILITARY" poster) when I got an idea to do the same thing for Denial Day.
Immediately I wanted to do a screenshot of the hand-holding-don't-forget-me-TOTALLY-NOT-DEATH-SCENE (I realized while writing this that it would sort of defeat the point of the day, though; DENYING WHAT OBVIOUSLY DID NOT HAPPEN >:/), but I thought, "hey, why not shoot for something bigger? WHY NOT PUT SHONEN-AI FLUFF ALL OVER THE SCHOOL?"
The logical part of my brain says this is a very, very stupid move. After all, there are only a small handful of anime fans in the entire school, and the second someone puts two and two together one of us takes the fall. This will only end in pain and I should just stick to an ambiguous fluff piece in my locker. Put something up where they're playing with cats and let everyone who sees it think Edward's a girl, or something.
The irresponible teenager/troll part of my brain, who has undoubtably gotten me in hot water MANY times in the past, says to do it. And not even wait until November; do it the first day back, as a "Hey, welcome back! Guess what got legalized in the state of New York during the summer?" present. And skip the fluff and go straight for hardcore smut. Put it high up on the walls and the damn ceiling where no one will notice it for days. Everyone will get their panties in a twist, and it will be the funniest thing ever to watch.
The current compromise between the two halves of my brain goes as thus: Fandom stuff in my locker from day one. One or two pictures of my favorite slash pairs along with it. Denial Day comes and it all gets cleared out in favor of the Sacred OTP. Little doodles of it get left in classrooms (on the floor, well away from my desk, so it's not *so* easily traced back to me). The Anime Club I want to form watches FMA leading up to the celebration, and with a little careful planning, we watch CoS on the 9th. And *maybe* the poster I put up announcing the change in anime has Alfons with his arm around Ed's shoulders. Y'know, subtlety.
And then EdWin Day comes and we do the whole thing over. *is shot repeatedly*
IDEAS? ADVICE? If I do it I will post pictures this time I swear.

I think you should go for fluff though. Bigots already have this preconceived notion that all gay people do is have sex. Plastering it with smut would just enforce that stereotype. (Also there could be legal issues there, displaying adult content to minors or something. I don't want you to get in trouble. xD) Anyway, non-heteronormative people also cuddle and giggle and hug and be sickeningly fluffy and cute and romantic when we're in love, just like everyone. So plaster that school with fanart proof of it!

fanart fluff is a good idea.  haha, especially in the ceiling... epic. I'll agree about the smut, might be excessive, and it's not proper for minors (although SOME minors do not mind it al all, hehe). Everyone has a right to love and be loved, so I never did understand the whole "anti-gay" stuff. That's just... I don't know. I don't understand it. I can relate to the fact that it might bother some people who view it as not normal or something, but seriously, what is it with all the hating?? It's love! Love doesn't pick age or gender or culture...it just springs right out of within a person. Gah. Lol. Moving on.  Oh, I need to put my two cents in about something else. XD Be it a gay or a straight couple, i simply hate being bombarded with other people's making out sessions. God, get a room. I don't condemn kissing, hugging, you know, all the cute stuff, but when it gets down to sexy-tiemz I think people need to keep that to themselves. especially teenagers. Nobody wants to watch two kids hogging down each other's face. I personally don't mind kisses, but when tongues start flapping on and about, it's really bothersome. Especially when I'm not with my boyfriend and start feeling all alone.  |

asfgsagds can't believe I've disappeared for so long. Went though this thread, had a good laugh--won't be vanishing for that long ever again xD;
