They shall be named Thing 1 and Thing 2.
Cough.
What? /zipsoutofthread
No, in all seriousness it probably would be Nina. Nina and Maes. It's just too cliche not to be done.

Actually I always rather hoped they wouldn't name their kids (for first names) after those that had died. I always figured they'd do the middle name thing. In my fanfics, their kids are always 'Annabell Trisha Elric' and 'Liam Urey Elric'. Roy however, would totally have his kid's first name be after Maes. The best one of I've seen is evil_little_dog having his daughter's name be Maizy. Oh, and hai all, I'm back! I was in San Fran for five days, just got back.

SAN FRANCISCO! ~<3 I didn't get to visit when I was last in the Bay Area over winter break, but dude. One of my favorite cities, right up there with Seattle. How long were you in SF, and how long in San Luis Obispo, or did you stay in one and commute to the other? Also I am totally NOT a fan of Harry Potter naming (i.e. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE TRIBUTES TO THE DEAD ) I agree on the middle names front, though. Middle names are very versatile - one of my best friends avoided having "Brisco" as her first name, thanks to the magic of middle names! In my own never-to-be-completed postmanga epic, the Elric nextgen kiddos are Nicholas Van Hohenheim (COULD NOT RESIST) Elric and Anneliese Rockbell Elric. The first names are just names I like and have nothing to do with anything :B And there's all this backstory on their middle names but I'll shut up now XD ACTUALLY I LIED: I'm also not a fan of children looking scarily like their same-gendered parent. I always liked Ed and Al's designs - you can see elements from both parents, and the brothers themselves look alike, and none of it feels contrived at all. So my Elric-spawn aren't little clones, and bucking the trend of the girl having blue eyes, both of mine have gold eyes. My reasoning is that, seeing as all Xerxeans had gold eyes and Ed and Al both inherited gold eyes, gold eyes is a dominant trait, aaaaand all of this is assuming simple dominance when eye color inheritance is MUCH more complicated, and assuming Ed and Al are homozygous for gold/"dark" colored eyes, meaning their mom had to be hetereozygous light(green)/dark or maybe...OH WHO AM I KIDDING I JUST THINK GOLD EYES ARE SEXY. AND NOW I WANNA SEE EVERYONE'S EYE COLORS BECAUSE I'M A FREAK LIKE THAT. I'LL SHOW YOU MINE YOU SHOW ME YOURS - ...I'll leave you alone forever now.

Exit 503.
I would have gotten pics except I was driving at the time and thus pics were not a good idea XD
