THE THIRD ANNUAL SECRET GATE BABY EQUIVALENT GIFT EXCHANGE:
PARTY LIKE IT'S 2011 (BECAUSE IT KIND OF IS)

SGB SIGNUPS ARE CLOSED. Crow or Puzzle will mail you your assignment on November 7th[/color][/b]

The Secret Gate Baby Equivalent Gift Exchange (or SGB Gift Exchange) is an annual FMAC tradition, and because in true FMAC spirit it winds up being a last-second affair each year, this year we're starting signups early to try and keep a tighter schedule even though I should have gotten off my tail feathers to set this up at the beginning of October instead

HOW IT WORKS: During signups, participants sign up for the gift exchange by filling out a form describing their likes and dislikes and etcetera (we'll get to that later.) At the end of signups, Crow and Puzzle go through the forms and match each participant with a Secret Gate Baby - another participant who anonymously makes them wonderful fandom gifts.

If you decide to sign up for the SGB Exchange, you get to make a total of five gifts for your lovely giftee: four normal gifts, and one super-special-awesome final gift to be posted on the final day when you also reveal your identity.

What makes a gift? A gift is anything that can be sent ala Internet - fanfic, fanart, graphics, fanmixes, whatever! Gifts are generally FMA-themed because it's what we all hold in common, but if you share other fandoms you're more than welcome to make other fandom stuff as well


TENTATIVE TIME FRAME (subject to change, watch this spot!)

-Signups will run from October 21st to November 4th.
-Participants will learn who their giftee is on November 7th. Either Crow or Puzzle will PM you; whoever mails you is who you will mail your gifts to.
-All finished gifts must be mailed in to your moderator no later than December 23rd
-December 27th through December 31st is the Week of Gifting. On a special thread, each day one of your gifts will be posted.
-On the evening of December 31st: The 2011/2012 New Year's Chat Party! At midnight, Secret Gate Babies reveal themselves to their giftees and post their final super-special-awesome gift.
Time became an issue, so the Week of Gifting has been bumped up one week: gift posting starts on January 1st, after the New Year's Chat Party. If you haven't already, PLEASE GET YOUR GIFTS TO YOUR MOD ASAP. No stress, guys - this is a busy time of year and this is such a low-pressure forum that lateness is no big deal. I would list my favorite characters from FMA and my other fandoms but then I would be here all night so I won't |D If you've seen my tumblr though they should be fairly obvious.

DO NOT WANT: I'm not particularly fond of incest, and nothing to explicit since my family likes to randomly enter the room/go upstairs and stare over my shoulder at the computer screen. PRIVACY WHAT IS THAT. Besides that anything goes.
