Welcome!
As for the avatar, make sure it's got both the http:// and the .jpg or .png or .gif or whatever the extension is. Also, make sure that you rehost the image rather than hotlink it; just save it to your computer and upload it to tinypic. Some sites have things against hotlinking that makes images not show up.

Tinypic's simple, but you'll want to bookmark the URL to use it later. Alternatively, you could use photobucket. Just as long as you reupload it. |
